This application and related website (the “App”) are owned and operated by Scalet Enterprisest OÜ, company number: 17457347
Unless otherwise stated, all intellectual property rights in the App, including its software, design, databases, trademarks, maps, graphics, and written content, are owned by the Company or licensed to it. No rights are granted to users other than those expressly set out in these Terms.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By registering an account, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are registering on behalf of another person, including a minor, you confirm that you are legally authorized to do so and that the person concerned has accepted these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.
3. Description of the Service
Code Hunter provides a digital platform for outdoor recreational activities, including location-based challenges, virtual checkpoints, interactive maps, gamified participation features such as rankings or points, and, where applicable, competitions or prize draws.
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. While we strive to ensure the App functions correctly and remains up to date, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
4. User Accounts and Responsibilities
To access certain features, users must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. Users are responsible for safeguarding their login credentials and for all activities carried out under their account.
You agree not to use Code Hunter for unlawful purposes, not to attempt unauthorized access to systems or data, not to manipulate GPS data or checkpoint results, and not to infringe the intellectual property or other rights of third parties.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.
5. Age Requirements
Code Hunter is intended for users who are at least 16 years old, or the applicable age of digital consent under national law. Where required, parental or guardian consent must be obtained before a minor may use the service. We reserve the right to request verification of age or consent.
6. Location Data and Safety
Code Hunter uses GPS and other location-based technologies to enable participation in activities. By using the App, you acknowledge that outdoor activities involve inherent risks. Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.
Scalet Enterprisest OÜ is not responsible for personal injury, property damage, accidents, inaccurate location data, environmental conditions, or actions of third parties. Users are responsible for complying with local laws, traffic regulations, and respecting private property at all times.
7. Intellectual Property
All materials available within Code Hunter, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and databases, are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws within the European Union.
Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Code Hunter for personal, non-commercial purposes. Reproduction, redistribution, framing, scraping, or commercial exploitation of any part of Code Hunter without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
8. Competitions and Prize Draws
If the App offers prize draws or competitions, additional rules may apply. Winners may be publicly announced by name.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use of Code Hunter. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection or mandatory law, including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
10. Termination
Users may delete their account at any time through the App or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access where users breach these Terms or applicable law.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of European Union, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in the user’s country of residence.
